Public Involvement Meeting - Intersection Study - April 13th at City Hall

The City would like your feedback regarding proposed upgrades to 5-signalized intersections currently supported by span wires and concrete poles.  This method of supporting traffic signals is outdated for coastal communities that are prone to high winds from storms.  City engineers propose achieving a higher standard of protection for Naples residents and visitors.  The Florida Department of Transportation recommends that traffic signals within 10-miles of the coast be supported by rigid mast-arms.  The proposed improvements, however, provide an opportunity to consider alternative intersection designs such as 4-way stop control and roundabouts.  This public meeting is meant to garner feedback from the public and assist City staff in prioritizing future improvements.  Please join us!
