Beginning on Monday, April 17th, 2017 the City of Naples and DN Higgins, Inc. will be replacing the drainage infrastructure within Gulf Shore Blvd North between South Golf Drive and Oleander Drive. This work is required for public safety as well as in anticipation of the resurfacing work of Gulf Shore Blvd scheduled for this summer. This work is scheduled to last approximately 4 weeks but could be completed sooner weather and construction progress permitting.

Due to the nature and depth of the stormwater pipes crossing Gulf Shore Blvd and in the interest of public safety as well as the safety of the construction workers, Gulf Shore Blvd will be closed to through traffic between South Golf Drive and Oleander Drive. Access will only be allowed for hotel guests, workers, patrons and service vehicles of the Naples Beach Hotel and Golf Course. All other traffic will be detoured to US41 via 7th Avenue North or Banyan Blvd.

Motorists should be alert for construction workers and equipment in the roadway and seek alternate routes to avoid delays. Motorists are encouraged to allow additional time in their schedule and your cooperation and patience is appreciated during the work.

Questions concerning this project should be directed to the City of Naples Streets and Storm Water Department at 213-5000.
