Pay Utility Bills and Parking Tickets Online

City residents have long been able to take advantage of the City’s automatic debit option and have utility payments debited directly from their checking account. Now City of Naples utility customers can pay their bill with a Visa or MasterCard via a secure online transaction. This offers 24-hour access and will help prevent late fees caused by busy schedules, vacations or other events that prevent timely payments.

Additionally, the City has implemented the ability to pay parking citations online. All you need is a ticket or vehicle registration number (Tag) and a Visa or Mastercard. Payment functions are secure transactions enabled by Click2Gov and VeriSign. For enhanced security, credit card information is not stored or retained by the City.

Individuals can enter the Online Services section of our web site at http://www.naplesgov.com/onlineservices/. Utility customers will find a tutorial that provides direction through each step including site registration and bill payments. Subsequent access is even easier because customers will have already established their pin numbers.

Call the Finance Department’s Customer Service Division at 213-1800, or email click2gov@naplesgov.com. for additional information or comments regarding the new site.

City of Naples Implements an Emergency Notification System

The City of Naples has implemented an emergency call out system called CodeRED. This system is like 911, only we call you instead of you calling us. Of primary use during hurricane events, it allows the City of Naples to directly dial homes within a geographic area with a programmed message. For example if, during a hurricane, a voluntary evacuation was ordered for all areas West of US41, the system would call every household in the evacuation area with a message about the evacuation.

The system uses a database of phone numbers and addresses to make the calls, keeping records of numbers called. The system can tell whether the call was answered by a voice or answering machine, and even calls back if nobody answers the first time. Naturally, this database is only as effective as the information in it, so we would like all city residents and businesses to update their information from a special web form. Click here to update your information.

If you have a cell phone, or multiple home or business numbers, the system will allow you to enter them as additional contacts. If you have recently moved or changed phone numbers, or have an unlisted number, please be sure to update the information as well. This system will only be used by emergency management officials for emergency situations.

For more information on the CodeRED system, you can visit the company's web site at http://www.coderedweb.com/.
