12-016 Street Sweeper - ITB

The City of Naples has funds available to purchase a new street sweeper and provide street sweeping services to its residents and businesses. The City Council is considering whether to purchase a new street sweeping machine that is either an air (or vacuum) sweeper or a mechanical sweeper. Historically, street sweeping services have been provided by City staff with the use of an air sweeper and staff will likely recommend maintaining the same level of service.

This bid requests pricing for two types of sweepers: vacuum or mechanical with an optional five year servicing agreement. The City may or may not elect to exercise the turn-key maintenance agreement. Interested parties may bid on one or both types of street sweepers. The Council will determine what type of sweeper to purchase at its sole discretion.
