13-031 Purchase & Restoration Of Wood Mountings For Traffic Signs - ITB

OVERVIEW: This Bid is to seek a contractor to provide new and finished wood mountings for traffic street signs including installation. The contract is to provide all labor, equipment, and supervision necessary to perform the work described below. Additionally, the City is looking under this bid for the painting, cleaning and restoration for existing in-place wood mountings for traffic sign including post and framing. If the contractor's work becomes unsatisfactory, the contractor shall be notified, requiring corrective action.

SCOPE: The City is looking to purchase new wood mounting for traffic signs to the specification set in Section A below. Restoration and cleaning of the mountings will include preparing wooden sign posts and frames for painting (scraping, sanding and pressure cleaning), applying a primer paint coat, and applying two finish coats of paint. Contractor will maintain a safe and clean work site and ensuring traffic and pedestrian safety during work. The work site is required to be restored to its original condition.
